Letter "L"

This Week's Prompts are:  Starts with the letter "L", a Favorite, and the word "Lake"

. . .

1. Starts with the letter "L":  "Love" starts with "L".

2. a Favorite:  "Live" -- I Lived in this house all my life, even born there, until I went off to college.  A two bedroom house, I was relegated to sleeping on the glassed in front porch after my Little sister came on.

It had no heat or air conditioning, on cold frosty Nebraska nights there would be frost on my blankets.  After my parents died and we sold the small farm the new owners bulldozed it down.

3. and the word "Lake":  This "Little" "Lake" is beside our "Library".  I took the picture out the "Library" window.

Comments:
...Jim, LOVE is a fabulous L word. Your childhood home expanded three time over the years, a frugal thing to be. And I see that yoiu have all your ducks in a row along the LAKE. Take care and be well.

You came up with the perfect L post!

Thanks, Betty

Frost on your blanket!! BRRRR!!!! Those were the days and it did not do you a bit of harm Jim Toughed you up, I hope you have a great week ahead.

I love old family pictures, and like seeing where you grew up and lived most of your life. I cannot say I lived in the same house all my life. I've lived in 8 states! Born in MA then to NM, MI, PA, and moved to CT after 6th grade. Eventually my children were born there. Later in life I've lived in AZ, ME, NH and now in KY. WOW! I can say I have the best memories and friends from all of these places. About 15 years ago, my husband and I took a long trip to visit places (first 4 states) I lived as a small girl. We both enjoyed that. And the house in MA where I lived when I was brought home from the hospital, is also still there. MY husband was born in KY, but his parents moved to CT before he was a year old. So, he pretty much grew up living in the same house all through school and college. His parents died there, dad was 78 and mom lived to be 95. Have a great week, Jim!
