GRANDCHILD NUMBER 4,
.
aka GC#4
Grandchildren are the Joys of our Lives. Sometimes they come as babies and sometimes they come as a 7 year old. Either way they are wonderful and GC#4 is especially wonderful. She is enthusiastic and inquisitive. She likes adventures with grandparents and that really pleases us.
Things are never dull when GC#4 is around. She is tireless or at least us old folks have never been able to "wear her out". She gives us the opportunity to do the things again that our older grandchildren have outgrown such as the zoo, with their night opening with Christmas lights. That was fun as were the lighted paddleboats we got to ride in.
This is a picture of our newest grandchild taken in her karate class. Notice she is wearing her yellow belt. We haven’t seen her yet wearing her suit and yellow belt. She is now eight and is in the third grade. We love her very much and like to visit with her as much as we can.
On December 20, 2005, this precocious little girl officially became a member of our family. Our daughter, Karen was married to our now son-in-law, Billy. Along with Billy came GC#4, his then seven year-old daughter. We are so glad.
PapaJay asked GC#4 a few questions and here are her responses.
GC#4’s favorite things are:
Fast food/junk food
The color blue
Sprite and Coke
Stuffed Animals
Video Games
Dogs and kittens
Macaroni and cheese
Corn dogs
Grilled cheese sandwiches
Lays potato chips
Things GC#4 doesn’t like:
Vegetables and greens
The color black
Plaid vests
Itchy things
School lunches
Rats (for some reason)
Ice cream is ‘o.k.’
Her favorite TV programs:
Suite Life of Zach and Cody
Doodle Bops
Her favorite on-line video game is 'Toontown'
Kabuki is her Pug
When she grows up she wants to be an author of children’s books.
For sure GC#4 takes time to smell the flowers!
Today's blog is a joint effort of her Mimi and PapaJay, aka Jim and Mrs. Jim

When I read things like this I get sad because I don't have any grandchildren. My only daughter may never have any either.
She likes some of my favorite things too:

Dogs and kittens
Macaroni and cheese
Corn dogs
Grilled cheese sandwiches
Lays potato chips
She is cute too! What a wonderful addition to the family! (I mean of course, her and her Dad!)

In answer to your question you left at my site: no, I won't be getting satellite radio. We have it via DirecTV but won't be getting Jr's show.
