[picture by Jim, taken across the street from his house]
The grass withers, the flowers fade,
but the word of our God remains forever

From Isaiah 40, verses 6, 7, and 8

6 A voice was saying, "Cry out!"
Another said, "What should I cry out?"
"All humanity is grass,
and all its goodness is like the flower of the field.

7 The grass withers, the flowers fade
when the breath of the LORD blows on them;
indeed, the people are grass.

8 The grass withers, the flowers fade,
but the word of our God remains forever."

Comments:
Jim, picture is nice BUT think about this next time and you will get better pics: take it from a lower angle and position the horizon on the top quarter - also avoid houses and such. I enjoyed the verse b/c it's so true!

Yes, very pleasant picture.

Looks like a nice, peaceful setting.

2,4-D hadn't been invented yet, when the Bible was written.
