A nice story by GC#4, Karen Jr.
I was honored today by GC#4 writing us a story for the blog.
Some background. Her daddy, our son-in-law, Billy, is an excellent golfer, generally shooting in the 70s. Mrs. Jim has been playing serious golf since she retired.
GC#4 has two dogs at home, Kabuki & Ruby. Her most cherished accomplishment so far was to make 100 in the TAKS** Test, the Reading portion. She also has a green belt in Karate.

Billy and Karen have graciously allowed us to have her here for this week to spend some time enjoying 'retirement' life. Last night GC#4 and Mrs. Jim went to the putting green, Karen Jr. is starting to play golf a little.

Fortunately/unfortunately her dogs couldn't come here to play. I don't think Adi minds that one bit, Karen Jr. and Adi have lots of un playing together.

Golf Championships

May first of 1997, the biggest golf tournament in the year was to take place. Not ordinary golf but Mini Putt-Putt.

Now all Billy needs is a hole in one Click, he made it. It was tied!

Billy, if you read this, I hope your daughter thinks more of your golf game than to have you tie her step-grandmother, ?????
Mitch, that just proves what a high rating grandmothers have with grandchildren!! They can be esteemed in spite of their imperfections.
