Just wanted you to see a few of the pretty sights along our walk Tuesday. Mrs. Jim dropped us off at the pro shop and we walked back home. We took the long way.

In the second picture, across the fairway (golf), you can see the roof of our home just above the back yard trees. Look just to the right of the middle tree. Click here for a super sized picture.

I'm hoping he will soon take Mrs. Jim and me play in the fields. They are just full of Texas bluebonnets, out state flower.

In the afternoon when it got HOT (yes, in the 90's) we had a nice visit over at the assisted living center in Conroe. Of course all Southeast Texas is airconditioned on the inside.

I must have been petted by forty people, all older than Jim!

And how about those Houston Astros? 0 and 2 already this season. They left eleven men stranded on base last night.

FYI, our house is in the dog leg of the eleventh fairway.
The course stays open year round.

Such a beautiful neighborhood, Adi! Tell Jim he's a lucky guy! Do you guys actually live ON the golf course?

Miss Adi Princess of Blog Church, please do not drool too much about the Lammy doing the sermon this week.....Just remember that dogs don't eat lamb!

Oh those Houston Astros! They are going to have a looooooong season again this year. Let's pray for them, they are going to need it.

I am glad that you enjoy walking with Dr. Jim, he needs the exercise and so do you. I love seeing the blue bonnets too. I would like to take a little road trip towards Austin to see the many blue bonnets. They are one of my favorite flowers.....Be good Adi

It sure is a pretty place for a walk Jim, with everything so nice and green!! I'm glad you and Adi enjoy your walks!

I'm sure the assisted living folks were delighted to see you!

Nice shots. That's a nice place for a walk. Happy WW

Adi - What a lovely place to go walking. I'm so glad to hear that you had a great visit with all those folks... imagine all that patting, but imagine all the joy you brought to everyone! Nice post... Lucy-Maude

P.S. Can't believe you already have dandelions - it'll be a while yet, up here.

Hi again Jim and Adi ~~ Nice photos from your walk. Glad you can use the grand final joke, by Americanizing it. Our local paper had a picture of a distinct animal and that archeologists were very interested etc ~~ BUT it was a Hoax and it was 1st April. Take care, Regards, Merle.

JIm, We here in the Northeast live ON a street. It's probably dialect of American English. I suppose you can say "I live IN a street" but I don't hear that In NYC and surrounding area. I live IN a house, ON a block, IN Queens. I'd never say I live IN a yard. I do have a front yard and the house is about 30 ft. from the street. Your picture made me think you lived ON the golf course. What do you mean when you say "...they would make me take my box off every morning." That's not a phrase I know. :D
