Adi Can . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Have a hard day

It all started last night (Thursday). "Nothing to eat after ten."

Adi had her teeth cleaned today (Friday--but I'm posting this for Saturday). She also had Xray's of her heart to check on her heart murmur.

Our ride to the vet was fairly nice, Adi was pretty quiet. She knew something was up that involved her, something not good.

She decided there would be one more pit stop before she went into the vet's office. For a minute or two I think she forgot about the ordeal she was going to have.

At the vet's a young lady came out to see us. She greeted Adi in a nice voice. I gave her the leash and Adi headed off with her. She did stop in the hall for a last hug and goodbye from me. I told her to be a good doggy and she headed on in.

I got the call (I called the vet) about three. Adi was ready to come home.

The green bandage covered the place where her catheter had been in place. She was all smiles and hopped into the car. Adi was also a little loopy still from the anesthesia.

All was okay, her heart was normal sized and her teeth had a lot of plaque which was removed. She is on light duty for five days but otherwise is all ready to go again.

She spent a lot of time on this bed. At first she was very much wanting to know what all was going on but as the evening wore on she relaxed more. She did a lot of sleeping.

Since she didn't eat in the morning, I gave her three 'half meals' and some Blue Bell Vanilla Light Ice Cream a couple of times.

Things are looking up again for Adi.

Poor Adi looks all tuckered out. I think though that Adi has a pretty pampered life.

Keep your chin up, sister!

That's wonderful news. She's such a good doggy.

Marilyn has a lot of customers who seem to refuse to have their dogs teeth cleaned. Bad teeth can have a devastating effect on a dogs health.

At least she got a good rest out of it afterwards.
Adi is a good girl. I know she was pampered and well cared for by you.
:-)

Its good to see that Adi is okay Jim. You know I have a neighbour here that won't ever take any of his dogs to the vet. If something gets wrong with any of them he just takes them out and shoots them! Needless to say I don't have a whole lot of time for this guy. Bob.

Your pet is very strong and healthy =)
