Happy New Year!

I'm doing this for Susan's microFiction Monday. You can too! Just write a short tale (fiction preferred) about this picture in less than 140 characters and spaces. Then tell her and wait for the critique and praises! Here goes my entry:

Texaco Star, The Way To Go!

Bernard was so sold on the stuff that he sold his car to buy some more.

His are now worth a cool million.

I'm not clever enough to do this, but you are.

Have a terrific day Jim. Big hug. :)

Happy new year, feller.

Smart guy, Bernard! He's a shrewd predictor of the market.

Happy 2011, Jim--hope it's a great one for you and Mrs. Jim!

I wrote a christmas tale, back at christmas ! would that count?

Sold his car to buy more --- oooh, I'm envious of that one! Just the kind of odd I like.

I hope he spends his profits on a wider variety of products .... LOL

Like buying Intel at $7. Smart cookie for sure!
Very clever, I just wish I could hit the market like your guy!

Smart investment!!! :O)

Yes, you are quite a story teller indeed, Jim! I love yours. Thanks for stopping by and your comment. I was born and raised in Texas, so I do know about George! Hope your new year is off to a great start filled with all the good things!

Which my family had bought some of this stock!

Happy New Year, Jim.

Hi Jim ~~ Would you please wish Mrs. Jim a very happy birthday for tomorrow - 4th January. I hope she
has a wonderful day. Cheers, Merle.

Indeed a good investment

Happy New Year Jim - best to you

Sounds as though he traded in that car for a limo. I'd take some of that luck. :)

Ah, the lucky chap :-)

Wow! Just shows you one never knows when or where Lady Luck will show up. Who'd a thunk it would be in a Texaco tin!

You have created a very clever little tale. This is about the 5th one I have read and I love it. I wish I had it in me, but I guess it cannot hurt to give it a shot.

Clever old Bernard! :O)
