A dark and foggy night was setting in.

Al had wanted a quiet place on the Ohio River to dump the body.

Here is great. Pour the cement.

The Ohio River picture was taken by
Susan . It's posted on her blog, Stony River

I wrote this for Susan's microFiction Monday. You can too! Just write a short tale (fiction preferred) about this picture in less than 140 characters and spaces. Then tell her and wait for the critique and praises!

Yep that will work just fine. Only one body? Just saying.

Have a terrific day. Big hug. :)
Oh, I do love a murder mystery and this is the perfect beginning for a great one! Love it, Jim! Hope your week goes well!

Ah, yes, they start 'em young in the Cosa Nostra--learning the tricks of the trade. Good murder mystery, Jim!
OM, I smell a murder underway.
Perfect picture for a murder!
Perfect place to hide the body!
Aha, yes, the old cement trick. Good take on the prompt, but what I like is your Microfiction instructions line, where it says "preferably fiction" - that cracked me right up!

Just wonder what Secrets the Ohio River does hold.
Perfect cover under the fog.... :O)
and they say they only do that here in NJ ;)
well done Jim

Hope sends hugs
Gosh wonder what's floating in this body of water?

Great MFM Jim
So that's what happened to Jimmy Hoffa!
Good one!!
Ahh...what perfect weather for body-dumping! Hope cement is on sale this time of the year....
Have a great week. Cheers!
"Ohio Noir!" I love it, Jim!

Hope you have a wonderful week.

Hmmmm. I want the story behind the story!
Ooh creepy! LOL! :O)

a nice sunny day was expected on the marrow<><><you KNOW"red sky at night sailor's delight" He would be going to san marie island for a mai tie
Jim, you're sunnier than that. You can't fool us.
Jim, this was good-just like a mystery novel, and I love a good mystery!
I hope they used QUIKRETE cement and concrete products!
Oo-er - nefarious goings-on here!
A good "Whoa!" to such a suspenseful and thought-provoking piece! I even imagined who I thought the author might truly be! ("Jim" is just your pseudonym, right?)
Excerpted from my blog comments: "BTW, my common name really is Jim, a nickname for my given name, James."

Rats! I was high-hoping you might be Snoopy!
Oh yeah! I'll get right on it- where's the chain?
