This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it

Sunday is a special day for the Jim family. You will usually find Jim and Mrs. Jim in church on Sunday mornings.

Well, I did post a UFO and alternative to fossil fuel article over on http://jimmiehov2.blogspot.com/ today after church. Use alien technology, that is the key to our future!

22 The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone;
23 the LORD has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes.
24 This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.25 O LORD, save us; O LORD, grant us success.
26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD. From the house of the LORD we bless you.
27 The LORD is God, and he has made his light shine upon us. With boughs in hand, join in the festal procession up to the horns of the altar.

Sunday's trivia (answer next Sunday):
Where, who and/or under what circumstances was the saying, "I have escaped by the skin of my teeth" made famous?

Comments:
Hi there, I’ve been relying on using Bloglines to do my daily rounds of the blogroll for a while now, it’s a very time saving method but it feels a bit impersonal at times, so it’s a hot Saturday, I’m gonna sit here and visit with everyone, It won’t feel any different to you but know that I chose to visit today instead of just answering an electronic reminder.
Have a good day.
I read what you post Jim, but don't comment often, hope you are enjoying jail time.

Lovely landscape photo. Have a great weekend.

Hi Peter, Hi LittleJen -- Yes, you are correct. I had posted this earlier, in February, but pulled it off right afterwards.
Today is a good day for it. A very special friend of the family died this Saturday. I'm glad the post was just waiting for posting again.

Hi Jim ~~ Every day the Lord makes is a special day!! Thank you for your comments, I have got behind with my replies. That post 154 of mine that was all wingdings was deciphered by Raggedy in a comment, and Kerri also left a comment how to do it. Sorry it
appened. Thanks for leaving a link to Olive who is amazing at 107.
Many thanks for your concern, good
wishes and prayers for my problem,
which I hope will be fixed tomorrow.
Take care of you and Mrs.Jim. Cheers
Merle.

Could that quote be from our old buddy, Job?

Hi Jim

Just popped in to send some hugs your way.

I am tired. Up and down all night to 4 crazy tweens. I don't think they slept at all. LOL

Take care and I am sorry to hear about your friend xx

I'm not just reading the funny papers today [after church!].

I posted a UFO article over on
http://jimmiehov2.blogspot.com/
too.

Nice pictures Jim! Great verse that is!!

I don't have a clue about the skin of the teeth thing!

This is my trivia answer:

Job 19:18-21 NIV

18 Even the little boys scorn me; when I appear, they ridicule me.
19 All my intimate friends detest me; those I love have turned against me. 20 I am nothing but skin and bones; I have escaped with only the skin of my teeth. 21 "Have pity on me, my friends, have pity, for the hand of God has struck me.

Hi Lori -- You sure got it right! Seeker did too, although not chapter and verse.
All those hard tests you give those girls helps you prepare for these tests in live yourself!

Dear Jim...Thank you for viisting my blog so often.
No I haven't trailed along with that David Fisher to England but the boy sure does keep me busy I am telling you!

It is about time I caught up with a few of my friends!! Ha!That sunshine Jel is going to think I don't love her anymore!
Mrs. Mac thinks that you are a young "over a hundred year old" and I have to a agree with her. You are very young at heart and a real bonus to all of us!
I pray that you will have a safe trip as you travel tomorrow.
Give Adi and Mrs. Jim a big hug for me will you Jim...Love Terry

Hi Jim ~~ I hope all is well with you and Mrs.Jim. Glad you liked the driving with Grandma story. Thanks
so much for your prayers and good wishes for my health problem. I am fine and glad to be home. Only spent one night in hospital, but didn't get much sleep, so I am still tired.
Take care, Cheers, Merle.
