Have you had your car read lately? #002

This new Friday feature for JIM'S LITTLE BLOG (is anything new?) is appearing here. "When you don't feel like writing anything, post a picture." I'm taking that advice here.**
.
..

[large picture] [super size]
.This guy speaks for himself if you can read the back tailgate [super size it to see] . I wouldn't want to go around telling people things like this even if I were a 'specialist.'

So what did I read between his lines? (Do you think this truck belongs to a woman? If so I am way off the mark with my reading and really don't want to go where she might lead!)

I read a super high or super low ego. Low in that he needs bolstering and attention.

High in that he is a braggart. I'm leaning towards the last so I'm turned off and will change the subject.

How about this,
his results?

Lets change to a new subject, YOU:

Take the Which Sports Car Are You? quiz.
What are you?

I'm a Chevrolet Corvette!

.You're a classic - powerful, athletic, and competitive. You're all about winning the race and getting the job done. While you have a practical everyday side, you get wild when anyone pushes your pedal. You hate to lose, but you hardly ever do.
Take the Which Sports Car Are You? quiz.

** This is not an original idea. Reading cars came from a sermon I heard last Sunday, brought by Dr. Roger Yancey, Director of Missions, Tryon Evergreen Baptist Association, of which our church, First Baptist Church of Conroe Texas, is associated. I believe my count of 118 was pretty close (link, you can check yourself).
I saw a few cowboy churches and quite a few Hispanic churches. All are within a 35 mile radius of our home.

I had to laugh at your "Just post a picture" statement. I guess that is what I did this week. (Smile)

I did laugh at your post this morning. You are still a very funny guy.

Topic #1. Lets not go there.

Topic #2. I'm a Classic Ford Mustang.. You're an American classic -- fast, strong, and bold. You're not snobby or pretentious, but you have what it takes to give anyone a run for their money.

PS: My rig is up and running now.

I am an Audit TT. Cute little car. I'll take it!

As for the truck with the sign: Most people go to the doctor for help with that particular problem, but I guess it all depends on WHAT you are trying to erect!

Dear Jim,
how come that modest simple me became a Ferrari Modena??
From Felisol

Lori, your picture of Rebecca and James is wonderful, what a beautiful couple.

Lucy, I was hoping I would be a Ford Mustang as well but I guess because I always want to win it had to be the Corvette.

Rachel, I think an Audi TT is just the car for you and your personality.

Felisol, driving around in a 1954 MG gets you in the mood for a Ferrari Modena.

OK guys, that is a fun little test. If you don't like the car it picks for you (I liked my Corvette fine, I've never owned one yet) you can play again with different answers to get you a different car.
..

This test is hard. Who can be objective about himself? I wish someone would come up with a more objective test--one which asked what we'd do in certain situations. We may not know our qualities, but we do know our preferences.

Can you style us a test, Dr. Jim?

Ray

Hi Jim ~~ I enjoyed catching up with your blog tonight.
BTW I was a Ford Mustang.
Thanks for your comments about why men die before women. It could be the age difference or that they just want out. Take care, Regards, Merle.

Hey Jim...Are you missing a little doggie?
Well she should be home by now.
Did you know that Adi flew a hot air balloon over to Missouri to wish Jel a Happy Birthday.
She stopped in Georgia just long enough to pick up Princess on the way and the two of them flew over to Jel's.
I was just able to take a photo of them with my telescopic lens as they passed over...Love Terry

Ray, don't worry. If you can't be objective with your own personality traits then I will do one for you tomorrow evening.

Merle, you make a good Ford Mustang driver, I can tell! I got mine back from the shop today, even with a Senior discount the bill was very high.

Terry, I know what kind of driver you are, I just have to find a car that will tolerate your kiind of personality
(It isn't bad, or at least all bad. If I can't find dog thief personality I will use horse thief for that part. The rest should all be excellent!).
..

I'm a Corvette ... one of my least favorite cars ... what gives? I like your new little dog ... very cute ... she will take some time getting used to you, eh?
