Have you had your car read lately? #004a -- Christian Art Car

This Friday feature (Oh, I know, it's Sunday already!) for JIM'S LITTLE BLOG helps me tackle the blogging problem of writer's blahs. So my advice is "when you don't feel like writing anything, post a picture." That's what is happening here.**

.15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
From "The Sermon on the Mountain," Matthew 5:15-16 (NIV)
.

Ok, what do we see here?

About all I will say about the fellow (the owner may be a girl, you know!) is that he/she sure is not ashamed to let his light shine!

Dear Jim ~~ I don't have a car any more so cannot read it.
I liked the quote from "The Sermon on the Mount."
Thanks for your comments and glad you liked the blonde joke - Burial at sea. I hadn't seen that one before. I think Jeanette had a really good birthday with several celebrations. It was great she and the two other girls visited the day before. And she didn't know I had her birthday in my book. They are all around the 70, but I am the oldest at 74. Which is frightening.
Take care Jim, Best wishes, Merle.

Jim ya know i never have anything to write about! ;)

the car is a eye catcher!

Jim, was that car in the Art car parade downtown? I can't imagine someone driving that car around on a daily basis......lol

Hi again Jim ~~ Thanks for your comment about the pictures of Jeanette, Gwen,
Pauline and myself. Not too bad for a bunch of old girls having fun.
That all day party sounds like fun, and
some pics would be good. Glad you liked the poem. I do one of them when I am rushed like tonight. Take care, Regards,
Merle.

Merle -- You always do soooooo good on having your company visit you. Many times they are 'helpers' as well. One son, Tim, will come help me but right now he has had rotor cuff and bicep surgery and isn't ready to do much helping right now.
Merle's poem was a Helen Steiner Rice poem, Never Borrow Trouble From Tomorrow.

JEL -- You almost always have one picture and a nice thought to go with it. I do that on Tues and Wed on my Little Photo Place blog for a 'Wordless Wednesday' post.

Lucy -- That car was on the street, parked overy by the AD Players Theater on Alabama in Houston.
..

Jim - This car makes those old St. Christopher's on the dash look pretty mundane! ~ jb///

I don't know, Jim. This one might be better if "hidden under a bushel..."

Oh my! You sure couldn't miss seeing that car on the road. If they committed a crime, remembering THAT car would not be hard for witnesses.
