Baby KP is home now

Baby KP went home late Saturday afternoon. Since she was tiny and three weeks early the pediatrician wanted her to stay a full 48 hours and then have a couple of lab tests done after that time. [click on any picture for larger size view]

She fits nicely in her car seat. Of course she will have several years riding in the back seat. That is good training for the ladies, back seat driving you know. Even when they are riding shotgun! Ask me about it.

.
Here is the big sister--little sister show. BP is a great big sister, she has more baby raising experience than either Karen or Billy. So you guys listen up when she has thoughts.

The first day home found her out traveling the neighborhood. I already can just see her up and down the street riding her tricycle. We have Karen's old one, I think it will be put back into service. After all it is a 'one owner' only ridden by a little old [now] lady.

Right now this is KP's favorite resting position. The chair was formerly Karen's grandmother's (link). It had resided with Mrs. Jim ever since she left home. We did have it refinished, tightened, and reglued as the kid should have nothing but the best.

I know about the backseat driver. I can do that job from the front passenger seat. I can ride shotgun too. Is it the same way? Inquiring minds want to know.

The little one is a cutie pie and I can tell you aren't one bit proud.

Have a terrific day Jim. Big hug. :)

Jim, what a beautiful baby.... I know you are excited to have her here at last...

Here's the recipe:

Super Fabric Softener Stretcher

I have come up with a formula for making my fabric softener last three times as long, and my clothes are softer than with the fabric softener alone. I buy a large bottle of softener. Then I pour two cups of softener, two cups of white vinegar,
and two cups of water into a smaller container. I shake this mixture well and then use it just as I would the full strength softener.

My clothes are soft, and the towels are fluffier than with full strength softener. My daughter is now using this formula for her clothes too, and loves it for her kids' clothes. Donna R. in Nokomis, FL

Beautiful baby! Thanks for sharing more photos. She's lucky to have a helpful and wise big sister. ;-)

Wow Jim... you must be very proud of all these pretty ladies! ~ jb///

Women - backseat drivers?? I never heard of such a thing!! :) Well, someone has to tell the men how to drive. They'd never get it right alone!

That baby will be so spoiled and I know you and Mrs. Jim will have fun doing it.

The tricycle sounds great. She's a little young now but it won't be long, the way they grow!

Awwwww...what a cute post. And what a cute baby, too. Big sisters are the best.

I see you have a new girl in your life that already has you wrapped around her little pinky finger. Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Jim. Get that bike polished up, it won't be more than a blink of the eye before it needs air in the tires.

awww... she's beautiful and so tiny! Makes me want to be a mother again. :P

BIG Congratulations on your new grandbaby!!
Both granddaughters are beautiful.
I love babies so much. I just oooh and ahhh over them. What amazing blessings they are!!
I know this new baby will be loved, loved. loved... and probably a bit spoiled too... which it perfectly okay as far as I'm concerned.

:-)

Gday Jim congratulations To the parents, grandparents and all on the arrival of this beautiful little girl. To love and spoil..
