This picture was of me at my 'sending off' breakfast from last year's birthday. Pictured: Billy, Karen, and KP (baby); Mrs. Jim and me. These kids are all in London, U.K, this year.

I ran away to the Wurstfest at New Branfells, Texas and then the next day to see the University of Nebraska play football with Baylor at Waco, Texas.

Dear Jim,
Whishing you the happiest birthday ever.
Celebrating with the family = as great as it gets.
Like "Strawberry fields forever", your granddaughter will tell you, when she returns from London.

Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday dear Jim
Happy birthday to you.

Sorry, that's all the better I can sing.

Dear Jim ~~ I hope you have had a wonderful birthday and enjoyed all
the eating out and hopefully some presents. May you have many many more. At some stage you should reach an age that you will be proud to
announce your age. My mother did, when she hit 70. Think I have always
told mine (76). So many do not reach
even that. Take care, have fun and
again Happy Birthday. Regards, Merle.

Hi Jim,

Are you really 109? I came via Terry's post.

I must call you Mr.Jim too, calling you Jim would be "No respect." and what were you doing up the roof?

Happy Birthday.

Ann

Birthday happies to you,
Birthday happies to you,
Birthday happies,
Birthday happies,
Birthday happies to you!

And many more, Jim! You're party looks like a blast.

(Oh, and I found the missing two words in your 6 words. I must have been short on attention span this morning.)

jim i would sang to ya , but don't want anyone to cry! :)

Number untold?

Well, Mr. Jim, why not? You don't look a day over 50!
..
Happy, happy birthday to you!

Hi again Jim ~~ Thanks so much for your kind comments about our friend's funeral. It was sad, but beautiful as Anne deserved. Peter went the next morning to visit his son Marcus who has moved from Bussellton WA to Victoria recently.
Glad you liked the Quilt story - it
was a nice one. You look darn well for your age Jim. I am sure Mrs Jim looks after you very well and we all know how well you eat!! Take care my friend,Regards, Merle.

Just stopped by after visiting my new friend Terry's blog! Wanted to say HAPPY birthday to you... And oh how cool to see those music notes here on your comments page! :) Hope you have a great day!

R U 71? I just did a little backwards math from a newer post about your drivers license .. at one point you used to say your were 100. Are you trying to be Jack Benny? He held tight at 39 ;)
