I feel for you Jim. When our cat a Scottish Fold passed on, all in the family cried. It was just a cat we thought but when it came to that moment we just couldn't hold back. It was with us for about 5 years, way into the 60's in cat years I think, maybe 70's.

I usually mock people when they post about their animals, but I never mock posts about their passing. Loss is loss. My condolences to you.

We're so sorry to know about your great loss, Dr and Mrs Jim. Take care.

Hugs to you across the miles.

Oh my! I am sorry for your loss. Pets are family.

I truly feel your pain...I have lost 2 fabulous dogs in my life, and never wanted to get another pet that would pre-decease me, but I did any way, and I am so very glad. Food for thought....Adi, rest in peace...

I feel for you, Jim. Sorry to hear of this passing. I hope you can find some comfort and peace.

oh Jim.... I am so terribly sorry... this does not seem to have been a good couple of months for a few of us.... losing the friend we have shared so many happy moments with is so terribly difficult and all we can do is remember the good times!

I'm so sorry Jim. I'm happy for Adi though as she was loved and well taken care of. That's a wonderful thing. You and Mrs. Jim were wonderful parents to Adi.

Have a blessed weekend Jim. My best to Mrs. Jim. :)

So sorry! You have had a bad week. It is unspeakably sad when furry family need to leave us. It will get better but always sad.

Adi was a good dog!

That's a long time to have her around and then lose her. Bet you have some great memories, Jim.

Hi Jim I'm really sorry to hear about Adi,I know how much she meant to you.Pets become members of our families don't they and it is so hard when they are no longer here.Sending you and your wife some English ((hugs)) I hope this week is better for you both, all my love Jess xxxxx

I fear for this for one of my aging (13 year old dogs) your little one looks far too well to have to say good-bye, my heart goes out to you, it's so very hard to say good-bye to a best friend, and they are our most devoted and loving creatures ....ever.

Dear Jim,
I'm sorry for your loss.I have learned to know Adi as your faithful shadow, overcoming almost any obstacles.
Her unconditional love and faithfulness was a rare gift.
And she was so undoubtedly yours.
Of course she is in dog heaven. My dad used to be very stubbborn about that. He said, "When there's going to be lions and lambs on The New Earth, of course there'll be a room for our cat too." Since my Dad could say no wrong, this has been my belief ever since.

Oh Jim - I am very, very sorry. That has got to be so hard. I can't even imagine. Hugs. sandie

This made me so sad for you, it is so hard to say goodbye to a beloved friend!

So sorry for your loss, Jim. I know how difficult it is to lose a beloved pet My heart is reaching out to you.

awww..I am so sorry for your loss. May Adi rest in peace . My deepest condolences to you. (((((((hugs)))))))

Oh Jim, I am so sorry to hear this. It is quite a loss when a dear pet leaves us. It hurts like heck for a long time. Adi was such a good sweet dog. My father always raised beagles so I know their disposition. Not a mean bone in their body. My heart breaks for you and your family.

oh mr. jim..i was just at felisol's and i saw this..oh mr. jim, i haven't been here for a while and this makes me feel so bad!...i was not looking forward to a world that was without adi...oh please except my heart felt sympathy...i loved that dog so much and i know that you and mrs. jim did too...what are we ever going to do without our friend?...i can't say no more...love terry

how can one little doggie bring so many tears to my eyes??

I am so sorry about Adi but I am glad she enjoyed a good life with you. We had one dog go to dog heaven, it is a sad time.

I'm so sorry for your loss Jim. What a beautiful doggie Adi was. And will always be with you in spirit. I know this for sure. Our pet's love and spirit carries on, after they've passed over, just like our other loved ones.

Hugs, G

Oh so sad to lose such a sweet companion. Big hugs to you both.

A great void in the family when we lose a beloved pet. Sympathetic waves coming to you.

I had to read your tribute to your friend Adi. Sorry for your loss Jim.

I'm so sorry to read this Jim.

I'm really sorry for your loss.

I always enjoyed your Adi stories and pictures. She was such a big part of your hearts.

Sending a hug and a prayer to all of you.

Oh Jim my heart goes out to you. I know the emptiness you are feeling. From one dog mom to a dog dad sending a big hug!

Jim, I am so sorry - I read the other posts about your wonderful boy and watched the video and left a longer comment there. He was a beautiful boy! How you must miss him. I watched an amazing film today called The Wall about a woman and a dog living in wilderness. When the dog died she said she realized she would carry that grief for the rest of her life. That is how it is for me and my boy, Pup. I just cant stop missing him.

Jim, Adi was a total sweetheart and a completely happy dog. You gave her such a good life. Today I read about a not-so-lucky dog and it caused a lot of tears. Thankfully, she was rescued and has had one good year since. I love that you and Adi visited seniors facilities, where people miss animals so much. In a perfect world, dogs would get to live there too, with their people. Dogs are the best, and you had such a good girl in Adi. I loved reading about her, and watching the video of her tugging on her stuffed animal....my Jasmine does the same thing. I'm glad you gave Adi her own page, to let people know how special she was, and also so you can visit her online......how you must miss her.
