The Letter "Q" -- Weekend Roundup and Reflections

The forty-third issue of Weekend Roundup for this year, 2020...

(THE SEVENTEENTH LETTER FOR THIS SERIES) - the Letter "Q" Prompts are:

(A) Starts with the Letter "Q";

(B) "Quarter" (Tom's Choice);

(C) A Favorite; and

(D) Reflections. OP

 _ _ _ _

(A) Starts with the Letter "Q":   "Quite" starts with "Q".   Here we have "Mary, Mary Quite Contrary's" (of How does your Garden Grow?) new She Shed.

That She Shed is one step higher than a Man Cave.  Why?  Because it has more utility.

(B) "Quarter" (Tom's Choice):   Three Quarters of a Pound.   This Louisiana Coffee, Community brand, is on sale for $3.99 a pound this week at Albertsons.

Or regular priced at $4.38 at our Neighborhood Walmart.  It is Quite Brisk, if your grocer stocks it you should try some, it is our regular coffee.  That said, we mix Dark Roast half and half with Decaf.  That's because of my mineral and red cell counts getting too low with too much cafine in my diet.

(C) A Favorite (Good Reflections too):  Leaving Istanbul through the Bosporus Strait and heading into the Black Sea for Bulgaria, Romania, and the Ukraine.

(D) Reflections:  Sunrise in the Black Sea coming into Bulgaria.

Bonus Questions:

(1)  Please tell us your Gardening Likes.  My Thumb definitely is not Green and I dont like gardening.  I do like to visit pretty Gardens.

(2)  What are your favorite coffee tastes, habits, brewing, etc.?   We have a 6-cup Dripolator, a broken Keurig, and an older Nespresso machine.  I like the 6-cup the best but often use the other two for a single cup, generaly Decaf.

(3)  What is your favorite "Q" Word?   My favorite "Q" Word today will be "Quebec", really for "Quebec City".  We've spent about a month total time, 1/4 each in Quebec City, Montreal, the East Township,  and Other Places at large.  All sleeping was done in the first three.  I've blogged about some.

Comments:
1) Please tell us your Gardening Likes. I too love a pretty garden, but I hate yard work and I never do yard work.

(2) What are your favorite coffee tastes, habits, brewing, etc.? We have dark roast coffee and enjoy our coffee at home. We rarely buy coffee at a coffee house or restaurant.

(3) What is your favorite "Q" Word? Quality. Sometimes you don't find quality in things you buy.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, Jim. My best to Mrs. Jim. ☺

...a She Shed with no windows? My Man Cave has 4 and it has utilities too!
...it interesting to see tha a pound of coffee is a QUARTER short these days.
...a great vie, my world travelling friend.
Thanks Jim for stopping by.

I have never heard of a "She" shed. Oh dear you banished your wife to a shed!!! and as Tom says looks like no windows!! I love gardening and although at times is hard work, it is such a pleasure to sit in it admiring the beauty flowers and shrubs and listen and watch the birds feeding. Q for QUIET as in peace and quiet. That ;s is what I get when I go to my old caravan. Coffee, I like it black and hot, no milk. I like the sunrise shot Jim so have a lovely weekend.

I always wanted a she shed when we had the house. I loved gardening but am not sorry now to just have house plants and balcony plants in the summer months.
Istanbul was a great city to visit, I wish we had spent more time there.

Hi Jim, Seeing your "quarter" pound of coffee make me realize how hard it is to find any coffee in a one pound bag. I do know if we visit our local Dunkin, we can still buy one pound bag of their coffee, but you have to buy it in their store, not the grocery store! They have it on sale, a lot. But, even what used to always be a 5lb bag of sugar, is now just 4! Less product and costs more! I do use a Keurig, I'm usually just a "one cup" of coffee a day, and my husband still likes to brew his is a very small "Mr. Coffee" pot. Hope you have a good week, Jim!
Dawn

That is a beautiful reflection photo! I'll have to look for that coffee it's much less expensive than what I normally buy but everything seems to be more expensive in California.
