Weekend Roundup -- 05-18 (for letter "E")

Weekend Roundup, this week's prompts;
Starts with "E"; A Favorite; and Evening

(1) Starts with "E": Elephant starts with "E".  This is KP's school room.  Originally it was a "secret room" with access made by pushing towards the wall on a bookcase.  KP has pretty well taken over there. Other than school, remaining are a few communications distribution equipment on one wall.  KP is our eight-year-old granddaughter.  She's in the third grade.

Teacher's desk.  Pretty neat (both definitions)!

(2) A Favorite:  First week in February, a new month, calls again for my NAPA Calendar.  On display below is a pretty 1956 Austin-Healy sports car.  They came out just before I was drafted, I remember visiting the dealer showroom in Lincoln Nebraska.  At the moment I wanted one but instead I  bought a New 1956 Ford Sunliner Convertible.

(3) Evening:  It snowed all day but this is all that lingered on until Evening when the snowfall stopped.  Some places in town had more, others had less.

4.a.  LagniappeElfin Sports cars.  These cars are made in Australia.  I first heard of them when preparing for this Weekend Roundup post. (Link 1)(Link 2)

4.b.  Lagniappe:  Elfin emblem (Starts with "E".  It was found at http://www.car-logos.net/ where I also found emblems for Emgrand and Eterniti automobiles.

...Jim, that's one colorful class room. I always wanted an Austin-Healy in British Racing Green. It really snows down there? Elfin is a new one for me, the yellow sure is cool looking. I'd no doubt crack it up with a right-hand drive. Thanks for stopping by, my friend.

that classroom is certainnly well equiped and coloutful but my favourits is that Austin healy. The colour is brilliant. Have a lovley weekend.

I love the price of that car in the 50s. Three grand was hard to come by for many back then.

Have a fabulous day, Jim. ☺

I'm not usually a big fan of old cars, but I love that little Austin-Healey. That would be a great summertime ride. How unusual for you to have snow in your yard! We have lots.

A secret room would be awesome! When I was little, I turned a closet into my classroom for pretend teaching. Your snow image is lovely. Of course, any pool here would be an ice skating rink.

KP's school room is cute - and the elephant is a great 'E'! The Ford was likely more reliable than the Healy, but not nearly as stylish! These days, an Austin-Healy 100/3000 is likely to have a Chevy V8...

I agree with Tom, a very colorful classroom! The car is gorgeous, too! Have a good week, Jim!
