Letter "M" -- Friday's Weekend Roundup 11 and Reflections and-or Street/Candid Captures

This Week's Prompts: Starts with "M.", A Favorite,  "M"ini, and Street/Reflections
_ _ _ _

Starts with "M":   "Minutes" to get downtown Houston in a morning with a average good traffic. We live in Katy on  the left, I-10 with 44 Minutes.    "Houston is the fourth larges city in the United States."

A Favorite:   Houston Methodist Hospital West front entrance, scale model.  Many nice cars, several old, toy cars. Perhaps I should will them mine, 27 or eight, plus a motorcycle, last count.

"Mini"Mini Skirts were the rage long ago, back then ladies liked to show off their pretty long legs.  (even Mrs. Jim had one).

Like this forty-nine inch legged young lady:

(Remember the ZZ Top recording "She's got legs"**
What do she and our family have in common?
Highlight the answer in space below:

We are all from the Houston, Texas area

The young lady is 6 feet 4.  Her 49 inch legs, from thigh to toe, may set a world record.  For sure for Houston they did and probably are a record in Texas also.  Things are bigger in Texas.

For sure too she would intimidate me if we were alone in an elevator.  Ladies who are taller than me worry me.

Street/Reflections
:  Our 2012-13 New Zealand Princes cruise ended up with us being in Sydney, Aus.  We had a wonderful three and a half days there.

The large rubber duck out in the harbor was on loan, it left for China, I think, after we had left.

ZZ Top song, first verse:

.."Legs"
She's got legs, she knows how to use them.
She never begs, she knows how to choose them.
She's holdin' leg wonderin' how to feel them.
Would you get behind them if you could only find them?
She's my baby, she's my baby,
yeah, it's alright.

Love that ZZ Top anecdote. And the rubber duck, WOW!!!

I remember that duck well.

...I'm glad that the traffic here is somewhat sane.
...the METHODIST hospital is neat, they MIGHT want your MODEL cars.
...I remember ZZ Top well.
Thanks jim for stopping by, take care and be well.

Minutes, was a great idea! I like that MAP you came up with, quite creative, Jim. I wish I had thought of mini skirts, I surely remember them! Have a great week, Jim.
Dawn

The young kids today are wearing skirts that short but I don't think now they call them mini! That duck is enormous Jim I love Sydney. On e of my favorite cities. Great reflections shot. Have a good week ahead

Wow! That's a big duck! I feel like I've seen it before but probably on TV. I remember the ZZ Top song but I'm too young to remember when mini-skirt were the rage. When did Houston become a state? ;-)

Yes as a teenager in the 80s I remember ZZ Top very well. Having grown up in a big city (Auckland) and then moving to smaller towns for 20 years, I can say that although I love visiting the city, I love more the small towns.
