A senior citizen said to his eighty-year old buddy:
"So I hear you're getting married?"
"Yep!"
"Do I know her?"
"Nope!"
"This woman, is she good looking?"
"Not really."
"Is she a good cook?"
"Naw, she can't cook too well."
"Does she have lots of money?"
"Nope! Poor as a church mouse."
"Well, then, is she good at making love?"
"I don't know."
"Why in the world do you want to marry her then?"
"Because she can still drive!"

Psalms 98:1

O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvelous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

Hi Jim ~~ I like the photo of the elderly person and I liked the joke.
Thanks for your comments, glad you liked the blonde jokes etc. AND the story of that unhappy horse was good. She must have known you meant to whack her. And horses pack quite a punch as you found out at a very young age. Take care, Jim,Kind regards, Merle.

Hi Jim! I like your sign!!! It's nice to know that being a senior that you are welcome places!!

I need some of those elderly crossing signs for here!! I doubt that would make folks slow down any on our road!

Jim I have a suprise for you at my blo.

The scripture and the joke pretty well cancel this blog out to a balanced presentation. Troon? Took your clubs I hope.

Yes Cliff, we had our clubs. But we only played Turnberry.
It was raining also that day, but we did look the course over.
And did free e-mail and blog check in the public library.
..

Thanks, BM, for the surprise. I did ask for it but sure didn't think you would make one for me!
I appreciate it a lot.
..

Rachel, why don't you make some of those signs for us. They are all over Scotland.
..

Merle, I still haven't 'collected' all your blonde jokes, but please keep some coming for me.
Yours are mostly new to me.

I'll never forget that horse kicking me.
..
And thanks all for leaving your comment. My site meter tells me quite a few visit/peek in and don't leave a record.

But I am getting more Google than friends now. The search for the 'used shrimp boat' gets the most, followed by the 1976 Chrysler Cordoba.
..

Hi again Jim ~~ Thanks for your comments and I am glad you liked the
Wooden Bowl story, that was one smart little boy!! Good luck writing your memoirs. I think we all think about it at some stage, but never do it.
I think we just have to make a start and type away and then worry about the rest. Take care, Jim, All the best, Merle.

I am making real cookies today. Yummy!!!!!

Elderly People - great photo!!

Can you imagine a church sign that said Seniors NOT Welcome????!!!

That would be a SIN!

LOL!!!my goodness, that little joke was funny. I think I've laughed myself silly.

Glad to see you have returned safely.

Tell Mrs. Jim I said Hi.

That is one of our favorite signs in Great Britain. Made us laugh every time we passed it! I love the joke, too. Blessings.
