Adi Can . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Practice "Seek and ye shall find"

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you" from Jesus' Sermon on the Mountain,
Matthew 7:7 (King James Version).
Entire Sermon on the Mountain is below. [Note 1]

We know now why Adi and those of her beagle breed run with their noses to the ground! Or we might think we do.

Well, what do you think she found?

Good things come to those who seek [Jim's paraphrase].
.

More fire hydrants.

And more.

There are other things for Adi to find, like trees.

More trees.

And more trees!

Then a little rest [Note 2]

And more rest!

This is more like it! A little fun, just rolling in the sand (trap). We almost got caught by a greens keeper (this sand trap was next to the green for hole # seven).

[large] [supper size]
This looks like more rest. Actually we were home, just across the street. We had come a hundred yards down the hill from the sand trap towards our house.

We couldn't go home because the green keeper might see us and figure out where we live, then who we were. We had skedaddled (definition of skedaddle) before he got to the green. So now Adi didn't want us to be in trouble after the close call with trouble.

Note 2:
Psalm 132:14
This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

Note 3:
These pictures were taken when Adi and had our walk for the week, last Friday.

Comments:
I love your "Adi Can" posts. They are always so darn cute.

Hi Jim Im Back, And the first post i see is Adi Can, Haha hope you got home without the green keeper seeing you , No dogs allowed on the golf course near me,,,

Adi is good at finding hydrants and trees!! No hydrants around here but Pup finds the posts, shrubbery, and trees!

You better be careful or you'll get banned from the golf course, or Adi will anyway!!!

Dear Adi...Come back to Canada to see your Auntie.
We have a lot more fire hydrants than Texas and they come in every color of the rainbow!
Miles and miles of the babies!
One hundred hyrants per doggie!!
Open seven days a week , 24 hours!
It seems your Auntie Jeanette won't even let you on the golf course and your Auntie Rachel hasn't a hydrant to spare!
Yep! You better head yourself on out to Canada, sweetheart...
Love from your Canadian Auntie Terry, eh?

Is there anything cuter than a beagle?

Nice scripture review. Some of my favorite passages.

Adi finds some neat things!
I was kind of hoping that she'd found a chunk of gold or a hundred dollar bill, but trees and a fire hydrant were good.
Your house is really pretty!

Hi Jim ~~ I thought I left a comment here before - enjoyed the bible passages and the definition of skedaddle Good word. Thanks for wishing Lady Di a Happy Birthday.
Two more birthdays on 14th. Glad you liked the blonde jokes. Take care
Regards, Merle.

Blessed are the skedaddlers...

I'm glad you & Adi didn't get in trouble. Be careful out there!
My Black lab Cody has a walking routine: it's stop, sniff and lift. That's a boy for you.

The sermon on the mount was a great teaching tool for all of us. I have always liked light houses and I can see the "light of the Lord" shining out there trying to protect us all. Let your light so shine....I love it.

Adi is a typical dog, fire hydrants and trees.....It's a good thing you skedaddled before that grounds keeper found you and Adi out there "playing" (wink) on HIS golf course.
