Let burning coals fall upon them;
may they be thrown into the fire,
into miry pits, never to rise.

Excellent sign Mr. Jim!

Psalm 53:1
"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good."

What a rude awakening these folks that deny God, heaven and hell will have when they die or when the Lord shall come for His own and leave them behind..

Good post Jim...Love Terry

Jim, don't feel guilty for not asking me to ride with you and Mrs. Jim. I knew that you had other things going on, so don't feel guilty.

No, I haven't taken the General Exam yet. I will one of these days. Are you going to keep your current call sign or are you going to get a call sign for an Extra? I am still trying to get my antenna up. I am going to need to cut down a few branches on a tree in my back yard before I can go on the air. Also, I think Charlie, at the ham store, shorted me on my coax. I asked for 50 feet and I think he only gave me 40 feet. It looks like I am going to have to piece my coax now. Getting the antenna up has been frustrating, but it is coming along. Maybe we can talk on the air when you get back from Colorado......Keep your fingers crossed.

FYI: My arm is feeling better today, but it is still tender....

Have fun at Blogstock and take lots of pictures.....

PS: I don't want to find out what the other "hot" place feels like. I really feel sorry for those that don't think it really exists.

Dear Jim,
When I listen to the proud deny from learned people, I'm reminded of the words in 1.Chor. 1:
26Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29so that no one may boast before him. 30It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."

Are we not lucky who can boast without shame??
